The theme for the Stockholm Culture festival was the space. During the opening event two ESA astronauts – Tim Peake and Thomas Reiter – on the ground, spoke to ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano at the ISS (International Space Station) – at the time somewhere over New Zeeland.
The event was live, with video coming on satellite from ISS via Houston onto the screen in Stockholm through our SNG. The audio was going from Stockholm to ISS via fibre to Houston and the audio from ISS via the satellite.
