Viasat has started the Nordics first Ultra HD (4K) TV-channel.
The new channel Viasat Ultra HD will feature some selected live broadcasts from different sports including the Champions League, La Liga and Serie A. The content of the new channel will be specially produced in Ultra HD, which means a whole new way to watch sports with unprecedented detail and image quality.
We’re responsible for the downlink of the UHD satellite signal which requires new and different satellite receivers. The first downlink we delivered was on the 10th September and it was a match between Manchester United and Manchester City.
