Nobel Peace prize to Ms Nadia Murad

The 8th March 2016 we had our first studio transmission from Stockholm. The TV-channel Al Hurra did an interview with Ms Nadia Murad, an Iraqi yazidi who had been rescued from ISIS where she was held as a sex slave.

Today we’re happy to hear that she has been awarded with the Nobel Peace prize – shared with the congolese gynaecologist Denis Mukawege. They both do such an important job working hard to give greater visibility to war-time sexual violence.
